NIVA Joins Senator Blumenthal in Urging Attorneys General to Break Up Live Nation-Ticketmaster

A preliminary statement from the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) responding to reports that Live Nation has reached a settlement with the U.S. Department of Justice in their antitrust trial in the Southern District of New York.

The Fix the Tix Coalition, a national alliance of music and live event organizations led by the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA), today sent a letter to leaders of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation urging critical improvements to the House TICKET Act (S. 281).
