Recovery Field Guide
NIVA proudly supports individuals in recovery, and we’re thrilled to be partnering with Recovery Unplugged to provide you with Sober Support at NIVA ‘25. This includes wellness resources during the conference, as well as daily recovery meetings at Miller High Life Theatre inside Kilbourne Hall.
The 5:00 PM daily meeting is a great place to connect with other conference attendees who want to hit the town and have some sober companions. We encourage everyone, whether you are in recovery yourself or want to support a colleague who finds value in these meetings, to attend.

About Team Elsewhere & Recovery Unplugged
Recovery Unplugged is a behavioral health provider that uses music in all aspects of treatment. Our Elsewhere Program offers touring artists and staff personalized care so they can manage their substance use and mental health challenges on the road.
TEAM ELSEWHERE
The Elsewhere Program delivers group access to substance recovery and mental health services while on tour - both in-person and online. Each member of the tour may have access to the support offered. Our goal in tier 1 is to promote recovery & relapse prevention.
Allows individual members access to higher levels of care based on clinical assessment. Services range from clinical support & monitoring to low -intensity therapy sessions. This tier provides clinical access with medical & psychiatric assessments.
Custom tailored solutions offered to individuals which may include sober coaching, medical detox, compliance monitoring, and more. Our goal is to assess & help achieve individualized goals and long-term wellness.
RECOVERY UNPLUGGED
Recovery Unplugged was founded in 2013 with 1 simple mission: Improve recovery outcomes for individuals suffering from addiction and mental health.
11 years later, we have treated over 19,500 individuals with exceptional outcomes and extremely high patient satisfaction scores.
And we’re just getting started… Improvements in technology, clinical treatment protocols, and online care delivery offer exceptional opportunities to engage and help more people.

WHAT WE DO
MusiCares provides a safety net of critical health and welfare services to the music community in three key areas:
Mental Health & Addiction Recovery Services: Support, referrals, and need-based financial assistance for counseling, psychiatric care, inpatient treatment, coaching, intensive outpatient care, sober living and more.
Health Services: Financial assistance during medical crises and preventive services such as dental and medical screenings, hearing clinics, and vocal health workshops.
Human Services: Support for basic living expenses like rent, utilities, car payments and insurance premiums in times of hardship, plus programs addressing affordable housing, career development, legal issues and senior services.
