NIVF Conference Travel Grant
Everyone is welcome! The National Independent Venue Foundation is now accepting applications for travel grants. Provided by our generous donor, Dave Mattingly of Eddie’s Attic, these grants cover travel expenses to attend the conference. Priority is given to first-time attendees and those in financial need. Applications are open until June 6, with grants approved on a rolling basis, based on the availability of limited funds.
Grants will provide up to $500 flight reimbursement of a round-trip economy airline ticket, or estimated fuel costs to drive to Milwaukee. Applications are open to members and non-members of NIVA who are registered for NIVA ‘25. All grants will be approved by June 13.

NIVA '24 in New Orleans marked the third annual gathering of the independent live concert, comedy, promoter, and festival industry. The conference took place across several iconic NIVA member venues, including Generations Hall, Republic NOLA, Preservation Hall, and Tipitina’s. Over four days, attendees participated in expert-led panels, workshops, and networking opportunities, and enjoyed incredible live music. NIVA ‘24 saw the highest attendance in the history of the NIVA conference.
