NIVA ‘27 Registration FAQs

  • Prices initially shown on the registration page reflect the standard registration rate. The current discounted rate will be automatically applied after you select your ticket quantity.

  • Bundle pricing will be available beginning with Early Bird registration for organizations registering five or more attendees. Bundle pricing does not apply during the First In Line registration period.

  • If you don't know all of your attendees yet, you will still need to enter a unique email address for each ticket. We recommend trying what's known as "plus addressing," which allows you to create unique receive-only email addresses using your existing email address.

    There's no additional setup needed with email providers that support plus addressing. Simply add a plus sign (+) followed by a unique combination of letters or numbers before the @ symbol. For example, name+niva1@organization.com, name+niva2@organization.com, and name+niva3@organization.com will all be treated as unique email addresses while messages are delivered to name@organization.com.

    Once you know who will be attending, you can update the attendee information and transfer each ticket to the correct email address.

    Note: Plus addressing is supported by many email providers, but availability may depend on your organization's email system.

  • Each attendee's email address serves as their unique identifier in our registration platform and is associated with their individual attendee profile. Sharing an email address between attendees can cause issues with registration, badge information, and access to the conference app.

  • Student registration requires a valid .edu email address. As part of the registration process, you will be asked to provide information about your school, major, and anticipated graduation date.

    Student registration requires approval before registration is confirmed. Your card will not be charged when you submit your registration request. If your registration is approved, your card will automatically be charged and you will receive a confirmation email.

Registration & Pricing

  • Attendees can edit their own registration information after registering. If one person purchased tickets for multiple attendees, the ticket buyer can also edit the registration information for all attendees included in their order.

    1. Click View Tickets in your registration confirmation email, or sign in to Accelevents and navigate to My Registrations.

    2. Select your NIVA '27 registration.

    3. Select Edit Details for the attendee whose information you need to update.

    4. Make your changes and select Update.

    Please note that an attendee's email address cannot be changed using Edit Details. To change the email address associated with a registration, you will need to transfer the registration instead.

  • If you purchased your own registration, you can transfer it to another attendee. If one person purchased tickets for multiple attendees, only the ticket buyer can transfer those registrations.

    1. Click View Tickets in your registration confirmation email, or sign in to Accelevents and navigate to My Registrations.

    2. Select your NIVA '27 registration.

    3. Select Transfer Registration for the ticket you would like to transfer.

    4. Enter the new attendee's information and complete the transfer.

    The new attendee will receive a confirmation email with their updated registration information.

  • Check your spam or junk folder and confirm that the email address entered during registration is correct. If you still can't locate your confirmation email, contact us at conference@nivassoc.org.

Managing Your Registration

  • Information about currently available NIVA '27 hotel room blocks, including discounted rates and booking links, will be included in your registration confirmation email.

  • If you need assistance completing your registration or require accessibility support, please contact us at conference@nivassoc.org.

    Accelevents is currently working to improve the registration platform's compatibility with assistive technologies and remove accessibility barriers. In the meantime, the NIVA Conference Team is happy to assist you directly with registration.
